”……”
Since the controversy among the people and the loops of bloodshed, many have found it hard to endure a hour without thoughts of fear lurking in their minds. These times were only for those who were willing to evolve or adapt to the bedlam era. Those who refuse to change would surly die and fall victim to the past. Now a days many faces were filled with anguish and torment, some even broke down from the pressure that they can barley even function to control themselves. Many reminisce over the past and pray for those peaceful days to revive itself, but those people usually revert to substances to help them relive those days for a short duration until it’s neither needed or they are greeted by death. Everywhere around is just chaos and corpse slowly turning into debris, and those corpses’ faces usually express shock to show that they didn’t see their demise coming. That’s how it was now…suspicious actions were always detected, either it be real or your mind creating those possibilities to be real. It was the reason why the wall was placed up, to keep the world protected from this paradise’s madness and hostile people. Some blame the government for not taking action earlier. Some blame the powerful super humans for even existing, and others just blame everything all together. It didn’t matter now though, all that matter was trying to survive a day and plan for the next. There’s no longer peace in this paradise anymore, only affliction. There’s no longer joy, just suffering. There’s no longer happiness, just agony. This was the life Verada, where screams can be heard every hour and everyday fires and slaughters were just as normal as seeing the sky itself, and it would be rare to see kids running around playing activities.
”………”
Through the hardship and horrid fields, this man only continue to strive for a better good and hope to restore peace back in this murderous environment. Of course he new that he couldn’t do it alone and he would have to search and find answers and seek out guidance on how to conquer this evil that’s plagued itself on Verada. It was a difficult task and often it lead to paths of depression; this didn’t stop him from realizing his goals. Yet it wasn’t really his first priority for the most part. There was something else why he travel and venture in this path. It was to restore the memories that he’s lost long ago that define who he is and what he stands for. All he could remember was the glistening cross that hangs around his neck it being placed on him from a shadow figure. Every night that dream haunts him and it never changes. It was obvious that he needed to find the key to his historical treasure at any cost if he wanted to continue to fight this chaos. The questions was where would he look?…who would he ask? What needed to be done? There were so many questions, yet no answers. It frustrated him to not no his past at all or even how he lost it in the first place. All he remembered was waking up in the middle of nowhere and the area filled with fire that he’s unaware of. It was a disturbing moment, but he took up his sword and departed from the area with his eyes drawn to the cross. There was something he needed to find out, about the cross before he could get on to the next step.
Through his current days, the only thing that seemed to put him at ease was relaxing at a bar and taking a few drinks. Not to get drunk, but to take in the scenery. There was something he liked about bar people. Maybe it was the loud ruckus that he always heard in there. Maybe it was all the pretty women that he’d see come through and enjoy themselves. Or maybe it was where he could hide for a moment, away from the reality that stayed from out those doors. Bar people were too crazy and wild to be depressed, especially when they had a little way too much to drink. It had it all to interest him and help him sort out his thoughts. Anytime he had nothing else to do, he would end up in some bar; usually in the corner with his feet up and his eyes staring dead into the ceiling. A matter a fact, this was what he was doing right now. His olive eyes were lost in the ceiling with his mind lost in thoughts and his blade leaning against the wall behind him. His feet rested on the table and his chair’s front feet in the air as the chair touched the wall and the back feet holding his balance. His arms crossed behind his head and his face in a casual expression. The loud conversations were easily voided, but at the same time he was still able to sense any harmful movement if it presented itself. He’s been in bars long enough that he knew the routines of how things would go and was able to predict when he was gonna be confronted with trouble. He never like causing trouble at all, but it seem that it always came his way because of how he carried himself. Even the position that he was in right now caused tension in the air, but it would slowly die out after people began to take a few shots.
So far no brawl….strange
This was the life of Tetsuya, a hard apple with a heart of gold who is more then determine to end this dark era and restore the glorious days that filled the land. A cigarette was taken out and quickly lighted by the young warrior as he puffed a few times and made it hang from his lips. Shortly he began to look at his cross and quickly fall into chains of thoughts. Once again all he could see is the same dream and shortly he dropped it from out his hand for it to fall back into place on his chest and continue to take in his surroundings and see if anything caught his eye that got his interest.

Zane entered and looked around at the people already there. He didn't bother probing their thoughts just yet; it was too soon and would be too obvious that it was he doing the probing. He sat down quickly at an empty table, closed his eyes, and began to look inside the minds of those around him. Just sitting and reading other's thoughts was one of his favorite hobbies. It amazed Zane how often people think about their most revealing secrets or something horrible they had done and couldn't tell even their closest friends. Zane believed that these thoughts in particular supported his position that humans are horrible people that aren't deserving of life.
He tried to figure out if there were any Aquila around. If so, he couldn't use this ability long. He never liked fighting, but those who supported the humans he detested so much were still his enemies. Zane opened his eyes and began to look around the bar. There were plenty of tables, chairs, and glasses and such to use against someone.
This stuff should do nicely...I wonder if anyone would mind just a little bit of trouble...
Zane thought about attacking some humans, but dismissed the thought. The place was too small for him to flee if things got bad. Open areas like alleys and streets were perfect for him. Zane walked up to the barkeep hoping to get something to drink.
"Umm yes, I'll have a drink. Anything'll do as long as it's not to strong."
Zane got his drink, walked back to his table, and sipped it quietly. His eyes closed, he continued probing the thoughts of others. The swirling emotions of people resonated through his head as he moved through people's minds.

As Tetsuya sat there with his eyes moving capriciously around the bar, his mind began to think about this random heat that rises in him at times. He’s been getting this very often and it often leads to heavy fevers at night when he’s sleeping. He didn’t know the reason behind it but it was very disturbing. Even now he could feel something different inside of him that he hasn’t felt before. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but it was a weird burning sensation. One thing he could tell was that it wouldn’t leave him and probably stay with him for the rest of his life. The warmth occasionally scared him because he had ideas that it would rip him to shreds or be the cause of his passing. Escaping those unpleasant thoughts, he reached for another sip from his glass of wine and continued to release clouds from his mouth from each draw. It was there that his eyes locked on to a rather unusual figure that enter the bar and sat quietly with his eyes closed. It was obvious that he wasn’t your regular bar individual or even a person to go to one for that matter. Something was up with that person and he felt that he should keep himself aware of his actions just incase, but he wouldn’t confront him unless it was necessary. The Bar atmosphere soon changed as loud laughter arise and people were throwing random jokes here and there and playing pranks on each other. There was always something exciting that goes on in the bars and there was a lot of appealing things that happen all at once.
Tetsuya then quickly notice a rather delightful lady at the front who was lost in a conversation with her companion. Although her friend was a female, he was more interested in her instead and would sweep by her soon enough as soon as he finished his glass. Since he’s been to this bar numerous times, the bartender already knew that she would be encounter by the warrior. It was the reason why both of them made eye contact and Tetsuya notice the face palm for a response from the bartender. It was only greeted with a cheeky smile as he disposed his cigarette in the ask tray and finished his glass of wine. It wasn’t long before he sat himself up and dragged himself and his blade over to the front and placed himself right beside the beauty. He soon ordered a drink for her and her friend and decided to enter the conversation. The two were a bit hesitant at first because he was a stranger, but it wasn’t to long until he used his charm and threw them a smooth smile. The three were rather engaged in the conversation real well, but Tetsuya had a strange feeling that things were going to turn out bad and he would end up in a brawl. It didn’t matter to him at all, as long as he can get the liking from the ladies, he’d be fine

Zane continued to peer into people's thoughts until he decided to settle on a man who appeared to be some type of warrior. The man seemed to have interesting thoughts, contemplating about heat and such things. Normal humans would never even have those types of thoughts, so it was clear that he was a Ryougan, and probably an Aquila because Zane had never seen him around with the Serpente. Zane knew this would be a good chance to learn more about him, should a battle ever ensure in the near future. Zane continued to move in and out of the warrior's mind, for fear he would catch onto what he was doing. If that happened, Zane would have to make a quick escape, not easy in a crowded bar.
As a woman entered the bar Zane looked at her for a moment. She was meeting a friend apparantly from what he saw and soon were embroiled in a conversation with the warrior. Conversations like this always were enjoying to observe from a mental standpoint. People usually think differently than what they say to others. Listening to how they truly viewed others was one of his greatest delights. Things like this just proved how horrible humans were to each other and to anyone else around them. They lie and use others only for their own gain. Humans look down on others only to make themselves feel better. He smiled a little as he continued to sip his drink and drift his mind through the two women and the warrior, always lingering slightly longer in the mind of the warrior, hoping he would reveal something about who he was or his powers.

The conversation’s had change from what it originally was, now it was all about reading behind words a understanding the true meaning behind each statement. It seem that the girl he was interested in was trying to find out something about him that he was trying to figure out himself. It was these times where Tetsuya mostly had to keep his guard and check body language and face expressions as much as possible. It was most amusing to the young warrior when girls tried to play these mind games with him, but it was good training for his part. What is she trying to get at?….Your eyebrows are contradicting your words, Why? Tetsuya soon took a sip from his glass as the conversation continue to press on. The word play from the two girls was created to leave Tetsuya to answer without hesitation to show that he was the real deal and no poser. Still he felt that they were up to something and didn’t know why. While the two talked, a sharp tension caused the warrior’s senses to arise. Something bothered him as if he was being watched or closely inspected. While he threw in a random joke to cause the fine beauties to laugh, he smoothly checked around him secretly without making it obvious. Unfortunately nothing suspicious caught his eye except for the guy with his eyes still closed. The individual still never bother that much though since he seem to be minding his own business. A soft delicate hand rubbing down his leg drew his attention back; there was no way he could concentrate with a lovely smile directed towards him and a pleasant thigh rub.
“Who are you looking for?”
The question was only met with a slight laugh and head shaking. He didn’t want to bring up anything that would change the mood of their nice talk, so he just threw it off and continue to talk. The word play within the group was rather entertaining and was about to actually get a little bit more personal to Tetsuya’s liking, but the tides would turn. A heavy fist smash the counter where they were talking and instantly Tetsuya turned to see a rather over size male who was bald; his arms full of tattoos, his belly slightly sticking out of his shirt, his mustache resembling that of an old western movie and his body rather muscular. This stranger who appeared really pissed caught him of guard and he turned around to see the two girls further away from him. Pissed, Tetsuya rubbed his in an irritated fashion and even let out a sigh as he rose to his feet. His instincts were right and even the bartender washing his cup looked at him with an I told you so type of expression. The place quickly became silent and all eyes drew to the conflict that was about to happen. It was a regular thing to happen in the bar and some only came in there just to see a nice hard brawl that they can go home and talk about. Bets were already being made and many bet their money on the tall bald fellow, as for the bartender…he knew what Tetsuya was capable of and easily place his money and him.
”Look…I don’t want any trouble, just take the girls and leave!”
“No you disrespect me by trying to get up my girls pants and then think you can just get off the hook? IMMA KICK YA ASS!”
The crowd got wild and chants to start the rumble traveled in the bar as Tetsuya shook his head and warned him once again to just leave. The girls came in front of the large man and begged him to just leave and even swore to never enter this bar again, but he was way to pump by the encouragement by the influence. The man quickly got up and personal in Tetsuya space and his chest nearly rubbing against his nose. This hasn’t been to first time and it probably won’t be the last time Tetsu would have to do a brawl but atleast he tried to prevent it.
“Sooooo. Ya think you can just get up in my lady’s pants”
Tetsuya only smirked and raised his head to stare him dead in the eyes. ”I think I’d have to take them off…since pants aren’t skirts. Hard to access buddy” before he could throw a man a cheeky smile, he felt severe blow to the gut by the man and his whole body pretty much hooked by the impacted. His eyes widen in shock and to make matters worse, the man continue his swing to bring Tetsu smashing into the ceiling with all his force. Flatten in the ceiling, the man twisted his fist and threw him into a wall. The crowd was barking like dogs by the entertainment and watched as Tetsuya struggle to bring himself up. The man cracked his knuckles and neck and course towards him in a strutting manner and a triumphant like smile.
“The names bubba! Make sure you tell the devil to count you on to my list ya bastard!”

Zane continued to peer into the minds of the warrior and his lady friends. They seemed to be having a good time, but something was uncertain about the man. A look inside his mind told Zane a few things. First and foremost the man was aware of someone else's presence. Zane knew that the warrior suspected him, but wasn't entirely certain. Secondly, the warrior was becoming aware of what Zane already knew.Finally...now you're understanding it...humans always lie...you just need to know how to figure them out. Zane drew his attention away from the group for now and focused on his drink and others around him.
Zane's relaxation was short however, as he heard some arguing close by. He opened his eyes and looked at the scene. People were chanting and throwing money everywhere. By now, he was one of the only people still sitting down. Zane would normally just listen to the thoughts but the concentration and excitement made him tired and gave him migraines. The warrior was being threatened by someone else. Apparently, the women were just liars after all. Heh looks like they are all the same...liars and cheaters... As tensions grew even more, Zane's enthusiasm grew. He enjoyed watching people beat up each other over simple things. After the warrior seemed to make a little joke, he was sent flying into the ceiling, followed by into the wall. Zane gave a little laugh to himself as he looked over at the scene. He thought about intervening, but decided this was more fun.

There are many ways to kill a human. All of which, Mu-n has tried, attempted to try or eventually will try. Decapitation, draining their blood, slow and painfully and even quick and personal, however… her favorite would have to be torture. She loved to injure her subjects, heal them, and then torture them again. For some reason, it made her smile to hear them beg for freedom, cry in pain, and then there’s those stubborn ones that never let her see them in pain. Even when she was poking around in their insides while they were wide awake. A flinch here-and there, but subjects like brought a challenge to her table. It wasn’t often she managed to subdue a strong willed subject, so she enjoyed them the most.
The Glass, it was a dangerous place to be. It was practically a watering hole for any bad guy, Ryougan or not, and if you crossed any lines with anyone… you were sure to get your money’s worth. But the number one rule here? Don’t start something you can’t finish. As the bartender poured Mu-n another glass of vodka, she noticed the room intensify in sound. Though, that wasn’t enough to make her look at the source of problem, despite how loud the alcohol induced crowd grew. She watched as the vodka filled her glass, clinking against the ice inside and then slowly settled down. She thanked the man and trailed her finger along the lip of the glass, deciding if she should get involved or not. Bar fights were usually over nothing, but if someone needed to get punished then Mu-n wouldn’t mind bringing the bad boy to her operating table—it was getting cold and the old blood was starting to dry.
Sighing, she threw her head back and tossed the remaining vodka down her throat, mind made. Once the burning sensation in her throat relaxed, she pushed her bar stool out and stood up. Unfortunately, she couldn’t see from where she was standing. These beefy men were becoming a nuisance. As she pushed her way through the crowd, the cheers coming from the dirty mouths of those who surrounded her were instigating calls. So it was a bar fight after all. She wondered what it was this time; someone stealing a drink, or someone stealing a girlfriend. Men were overprotective in this bar, so it must have a new guy or someone who obviously didn’t care about getting the lights knocked out of them.
Now eye to eye with the scene, a frown folded over the curve of her lips. Really, now… if the size difference wasn’t important this obviously was an unfair fight. Taking in the size of both men, she realized this new guy wasn’t familiar at all. She knew the attacker, though and she knew why he would ever try to start a fight with someone. Looking around, she spotted the women who the bear like baldy usually hooked up with, but what caught her attention was the sword that was strangely out of place. It must have been the new guy’s. Well, Mu-n knew how to even the fight now, even she knew better than to fight a bull, “excuse me ladies,” she whispered to them as she reached over for his sword.
“The names bubba! Make sure you tell the devil to count you on to my list ya bastard!”
She looked over her shoulder, and her frown deepened. As the giant man began to walk toward his fallen opponent, Mu-n stepped in front of him, false anger shown in her eyes, “You know the devil?” she asked him, dropping the sword behind her, “I’m surprised you managed to even fit through the gates of hell.” His eyes widen at the insult, and Mu-n kicked the sword toward the smaller guy and shortly afterwards slapped the fat man, despite the height he had on her, with everything she could muster in her right arm. She was buying time for the fallen man to recover.

The pain would have been excruciating for a regular man, but Tetsuya has suffered several impacts over his years, although he isn’t aware of it. He didn’t know how he could take so much of beating all at once, but he assumed it had something to do with his past. Still he could tastes the bitter blood in his mouth swirl around his tongue as he began to hold himself up to together, and quickly he spat it out and began to cough and attempted to gain his air back. His hair covered his face and his clothes ruffled from the damage he’s taken. The crowd seemed to be mocking his appearance compared to this bubba character and they had already presumed his fate in the brawl. Still he paid no mine to what they thought because he already knew that he could end this fight right now if he needed to. He still wonder why he never decided to finish him off right there and then…was it just to entertain? Was he after something? Or was he being held back by something? or someone?
There was still a tension in him that there was an individual in the midst, just watching and gathering info, he could feel it. He wanted to know what was bugging him and he intended to find out. Struggling, Tetsuya finally pulled his head up to view the position of the big muscular man who was more then ready to send him to his grave. To his surprise he saw a hint of sorrow in the eyes of the ladies he was talking to…but at the same time excitement that he was still able to move. This made the gray haired warrior pleased that he held a place in their hearts even though it’s the first he’s encountered them.
Alright Bubba…keep it up! I want you to gain all your hype, that way I can crumble your ego as well as your body when I’m finished…You are Fuc-wow who’s this!?. The knights eyes widen as he witness an attractive woman before him who was confronting the bald headed freak; Her hair was long, she wore a jacket and her legs were really revealing. And she was defending him it seemed, or drawing more time for him as he noticed his blade on the floor behind her. Quickly shaking his head a bit to make sure his vision wasn’t playing with him, he saw his blade real close to his legs. He picked it up at a slow rate and began to stare at it as if it wasn’t his. He then felt a little insulted that this female thought that he couldn’t handle this man fist to fist. Well he only spat out blood and soon the pain was overwhelmed with irritation from the situation. He then swung his blade to his right where it would place itself in the wall.
Bubba seem to feel a bit angered by the slap he was given but he only smiled at the female and had a rather arouse look as if he was turned on by it. “You’re a spicy one are ya!? Step a side baby, and watch the master at work!” the man simply cracked his neck and rubbed his rash side of his cheek from the impact she gave him. Bubba then proceeded and moved around her to reach for Tetsuya once again. Slowly he felt himself grow alittle and was staring Bubba face to face as he felt a tightening around his neck.
He fought to get air, but his eyes were locked around the room then the man strangling him. It was there and then he locked eyes on the man that was sitting down..it was him! The bad vibes kicked in when he placed his eyes on him and now he new he had to question him after the fight was over. “Hey hunny…this guy won’t bother you again okay!? I’m gonna put him away for good! TAKE THIS!!!!” the yelling ringed in Tetsu’s ears as well his breath suffocated him more then his actual chocking method. Before he could insult the bastard again, he notice Bubba was charging him into the wall. He closed his eyes and then felt him self get pulled towards the bald monster before getting slammed into the wall. The crowd roared around the bar and the bartend even look away to avoid seeing the fatal blow. Many thought this to be the end of the small man plenty already were pissed that they lost the bet including the bartender. The smash was devastating and left a huge crater in the wall that he slammed him in. Bubba soon pulled him out and held him by the neck to see his body covered in rumble and cuts and his arm bloody. His eyes were closed and it looked like he was either dead or unconscious. Whatever it maybe, Bubba planed to end his life by giving him a haymaker to the face.
The event seem like it was over, but the event soon changed as they notice Tetsuya’s hands grasp for the arm chocking him. ”Tha-t wa-s a…ni-nice mo-move…you know what, I wasn’t really good at acting. Let me show you true strength Bubba!” his hands began to pressure Bubba’s arm to the point that a snap was heard and his wrist dislocating from his previous position and extending out of its place. The man screamed in pain and he made a swing at him, but Tetsuya had already fallen down to his feet and avoided the fist. The dodge was followed to a jump elbow bashing at his injured arm’s shoulder, nearly popping it out of its socket.
The man’s eyes were in a shocked state and the crowed began to behave like wild animals as they witness something not usually seen. A series of blows was followed to chest and if any was watching the back of Bubba, they could see his back nearly deforming from the damage. Before he knew it, he had bubba on his knees and his hand chocking him. Although Tetsuya face was rather bloody and his arm wounded, he was fine compared to how bubba looked as he bashed him directly in the nose. He then smirked as he saw Bubba was lost in another world and unable to defend himself. ”I would end it right here…but I know it takes more then this for you to learn your lesson” Tetsu then let go of him and then gave him a uppercut that grazed his Adam’s apple from its place and made him fly up from off his knees. At the same time Tetsu drew back his fist and haymaker him right in the neck with all his strength. The punch was so lethal that it changed his body’s course to fly directly pass the crowd and collided head first into the other wall.
The Fight was finally finished and many lost the bet and the bartender was happy to of gain some money. As for the two girls, they seem more worried about bubba’s condition then Tetsu. He didn’t know if Bubba would be alive from that cause he did hit him rather really hard, not to mention he could of broken his windpipes. He didn’t plan to smash him that hard but he was still pissed from what the woman did and he probably took it all out on him. Casually he walked up to the wall and pulled his sword out and then eyed the woman that helped him out. Rubbing his head from exhaustion, he approached her in a staggering manner. ”Hey, you didn’t have to intervene with the fight…As you can see I know how to handle my-self” he then felt his side a bit from the pain he suffered from being slammed into the wall. Quickly he regained himself to finish his sentence and even laughed a bit. ”But I’ll tell you what, how about we sit and talk…I think I owe you that much for distracting him”
Although his eyes seem deep in conversation, he still kept himself aware of the man sitting at the table.”Just my luck…I meet plenty of hot girls and now this punk shows up to cross my spirit…whatever, I’m gonna get at the bottom of this”

Zane continued to watch the brawl. He had already finished his drink, but decided to wait until the fighting died down before going up to get another one. He didn't want to risk his life my crossing the path of that idiot Bubba. Zane wanted to help the man who was just beaten, but thought it best to leave him there. It would be dumb to waste his powers to help a person who was probably an Aquila and fight an idiotic human. Just then, he saw a woman walk up to Bubba. Normally, this wouldn't be worth anything to Zane, however the woman looked very familiar, like a Serpente he knows.Hmm...that can't be her...why would she be here anyway? Zane decided to dismiss the thought and close his eyes and listen to the people around him. His peace was short lived however, as he heard the noise of someone slapping someone hard. Zane opened his eyes and saw the woman had slapped Bubba across the face. Zane opened his eyes wider to realize that it was one of the Serpente, Mu-n, who was fighting a human and possibly saving a possible Aquila.
Zane closed his eyes again for a quick moment. I guess she wouldn't know that the man she's saving is possibly an Aquila. I could get her attention, but I'd rather not have the risk of her looking at me with that other guy here. Zane tried to get her attention by trying to look through her mind. It wasn't necessarily to look at her thoughts and such, but rather to get her attention subtly. He drifted in and out, hoping to get her attention without focusing too much on her so that she would stare at him, giving him away possibly. He kept his eyes open for this, but didn't stare directly at her. Zane wanted to observe the fight going on now. He thought it would be interesting to see if the warrior was really going to fight back with everything he can.
As the fight went on, Zane noticed just how badly the warrior was getting beaten. He couldn't help but smile a little bit at the struggle the man was giving against Bubba. I mean sure deep, deep down Zane felt a little bad, but he knew that it would be best to just wait and watch and then everything would be okay...hopefully. Either way it was a win-win situation. A useless human would be gone, or someone who is probably an Aquila would die. All of a sudden, the man was just going berserk against Bubba. He was shooting punches at him and chocking him. Wow...didn't think the guy had it in him... Zane stood up and looked at the fight more closely. It took one more punch in the neck, and then it was over. Zane smiled a little at the sight of Bubba down, and went back to get another drink. Interesting...I think I can finally have some fun... But Zane still couldn't get out of his head why Mu-n was here. I'll talk to her about this...normally it would be insane for a Serpente to help an Aquila...or at the very least someone who is probably an Aquila... Zane went back to sit down and hopefully get her attention without anyone else, especially the man who had won his fight.

He had said something to her, but she instantly stilled at the feeling of someone probing in her mind. She didn’t notice when Bubba slipped passed her to continue his beating to the poor man. Shaking her head of the feeling, her brown eyes quickly went to observe her surroundings, scanning the several faces until one caught her attention and she knew instantly. Zane. Stepping back into the crowd, Mu-n pondered for a second of leaving but decided against it as there was no point. Her fellow Serpente had already seen what she had done and would eventually confront her about it. But what she didn’t know was that the man she had helped was already a concern for her clanmate.
Why?
Why would the younger ryougan see it necessary to probe through her mind? Couldn’t he have just approached her? Unless… she looked around, trying find any other face in the crowd that would reach her as dangerous or possibly an enemy, but there was no one. He was trying to get her attention. Was he being lazy? No, if it was that important he would have mad sure that she knew by coming face to face with her. There was something stopping him, feigning interest in the fight, she looked in the direction of the two and passed the fighters where she quickly caught a glimpse of Zane. But she knew better than to keep her attention in his direction if there was a possible threat around. She didn’t want to ruin whatever Zane was planning by revealing that they knew each other, that and she didn’t want to be on someone’s radar when she didn’t know who or where this person was.
Looks like she was playing the innocent, helpless human role once again. She clicked her tongue in annoyance and pouted slightly—she hated that role.
The crowd started to disburse and she saw the man approaching her. What just happened? He was obviously battered but if he was walking away then that meant… Looking around, she saw the two females rush off their bar stools and ran into the direction that Bubba had landed in. She saw the overly sized male crashed out against the wall and saw the bruised throat, and bloody nose. Knowing that it would have taken extraordinary strength to bruise a neck the size of bubba’s and to possibly break his nose, Mu-n turned her attention away… could this man she had helped be a ryougan? Her mind switched directions, the wheels started turning in her head and her brown eyes met the man’s who stood infront of her just in time as he started to speak.
“I can see,” she echoed after he had finished, her eyes taking in his size. Yes, he was definitely smaller than Bubba. A thin eyebrow lifted on her brow and she crossed her arms over chest, he didn’t look too strong…
Her lips pursed together thoughtfully at his question. Hm, maybe she could use this invitation to further investigate. Flipping her long hair back over her shoulder, she smiled sweetly at him, “looks can be deceiving,” she started, a warning for him about her intentions but spoken in way that sounded like she was impressed, which wasn't a lie, “do you have a table in mind?”

The commotion disturbingly got loud as the people began to talk about how entertaining the fight was, and plenty even begged the man to duke it out with another thug. The pressure of the crowd increased as people began to put up more money to get someone else to fight him…but none dared to fight since they only imagine that they could suffer worse then what happen to poor Bubba. The two girls were still struggling to remove the brute from his position. He was too huge for them to even drag by the legs, and his body was buried in the wall. The chances of Bubba being alive would be slim, if he was lucky he might just be cripple and his windpipes may have been fracture so that would cause the fall of him speaking or breathing for that matter. It was a harsh moment for the bald man, but he forced Tetsuya’s hand and there was no way he was just going to give him a spanking. If it was one thing he learned from bar fights, it was that you needed to nearly kill the guy or have his life on the line in order to stop him from coming back to fight again. Still he had to give him the credit that Bubba can give some heavy blows; he could still feel the sore pains all over his body and his arm seem to be severely damage. He was busted up, but still he could stand his ground and can probably go up against another opponent if he was willing too.
Through out all the shocked looks, he particularly notice the man who has been sitting down the whole time and in one moment he vaguely remembered him move from on position to the next. Of course if Tetsuya wasn’t already keeping an eye on him from the time he first step into the bar, he would of never paid close attention to him like how it is now. There was something definitely false about this picture agitated him to the point that he felt his perception tingle. Still he was at ease now that the girls that only came to the bar to hook up with the most interesting guys were eyeing him. In the bar they were referred to as cab girls since all they did was give guys a ride and then you’d be lucky if you ever see them again, if you catch the drift. Tetsuya only eliminated the surroundings of other cheering on and kept his focus on the attractive female in front of him. Her charms were striking and the he was sure with those glasses off it would brighten her beauty, but with them it did add character to her. Based on her look she posed as a clever fox in Tetsuya’s eyes. She didn’t seem like a regular girl and Tetsu already just notice something to further back up that she wasn’t who she posed to be. Foolishly Tetsu still didn’t care because he was to tangle in his flaw to keep on it.
Her smile was exchange with a grin from his face as well as he olive eyes darting directly to her eyes. It seemed like Tetsu was back to square and probably going to be stuck into another read between the lines conversation once again. Her statement didn’t really connect to Tetsuya because of the smile that was followed by it and he failed to read the true meaning behind it. Hunching the blade on his shoulder and stretching his wounded arm, the warrior then turned to the table he was sitting at before he got to the front. Simply he gesture his free hand for her to sit at the seat and he casually lead her there. ”I wonder if this girl is into me…I’ll have to find out, who knows. I might get lucky” he then sat down and called the bartender over who was caught of guard counting his money he received from the fight. As he entered their presence, Tetsuya then smiled at the female before him.
”Get her any drink she wants, its on me. And I’ll have Cuba Libre!” He then rested his blade as he got himself more comfortable in his seat and massage his wounded arm a bit as he waited for her to take her order. It was at that time he prayed in his head for forgiveness of his actions. He didn’t know why he always prayed after or before a fight but he felt it was necessary to perhaps bring peace with his heart. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the time for it..he had more important things to handle. Getting drawn back to reality, Tetsuya then decided to get this conversation started.
”My name is Tetsuya, what’s your name? And what is an attractive young lady like yourself doing in a dull bar like this?”
While asking that question, he still had another thing close in mind. He’d make sure that he didn’t lose his new objective, cause if things turned out wrong. Maybe thing would turn out into an old 60’s film with the bad guy on the run, and Tetsuya hated chasing down people. Mostly cause he didn’t like putting in so much effort unless it was really needed. He thought to pull out a cigarette, but he reframed himself so that it didn’t disturb the brown eyed woman before him.

Zane sipped his drink quietly and tried to figure out how to get Mu-n's attention. He couldn't blatantly walk up to her and talk to her. If he did that, her friend there would get very suspicious and everything would be ruined. I need an idea...I can't talk to her for fear of giving ourselves away as Serpente. There has to be something...Why couldn't I send my thoughts to people this would be so much easier. Zane knew complaining wouldn't help and decided to ponder this thought more. He had finished his drink and decided to look around the bar a bit more. There had to be something in there to inspire him with a good idea. Zane decided to move in and out of people's thoughts to get an idea. He heard many different thoughts; some people were angry, sad, or lying to their friends. Zane found it dull and was growing more and more frustrated, but couldn't show it in public with Mu-n and an Aquila in the vicinity. Soon, Zane found the inspiration he needed. He saw a young woman at the bar, sitting by herself, given a drink by the bartender from a man further down. The woman accepted the drink and blushed slightly as she sipped it. Zane noticed the man stride towards the woman and strike up a conversation with her. He was too far away to hear, but he could tell that the man wasn't being sincere. He looked in his mind only to confirm his suspicions; the man was only being nice to get the woman in bed with him. The man smiled and put his hands on the girl's shoulders and it all went down from there. The woman got angry and slapped the man across the face and walked away, ashamed that she had fallen for such a simple and devious trick. Zane chuckled a bit on the inside, happy that he found the perfect way of getting his clanmate's attention without actually showing they knew each other. Zane walked up to the empty seat at the bar, now that the woman had left angrily. Excuse me, can I get half a glass of red wine please? Thanks, and could you do me a favor? I'd like to buy that woman over there a drink too. He already had two drinks and only wanted the wine mainly because he wanted to avoid the suspicision that he was buying her a drink because they were friends, but also the red wine reminded him of blood. The drink was a favorite between him and his sister, but tonight he decided on something different for a change of pace. Zane plopped down the money for both drinks on the counter. Oh and I'd also like a pen and paper, please. I'd like to give a note to the lady. The bartender handed Zane a small piece of paper and a pen. Zane began to quickly think of a way to give Mu-n a message without it being too obvious. If it was too discrete however, she might get confused and would only make things worse. He thought of a perfect way to get her attention. All he needed now was to make a few things up. Try not to react to this message too much. 8 Aquios Lane is where I live. It's right across from the market center which is a good location. I hope you like the drink. Just make it look believable. Just slap me and say I'm interrupting or something. Crumple and burn this and don't show him. Zane wrote harder down on the letters and words he wanted to stand out more. Hopefully, Mu-n was smart enough to figure out what he needed to tell her. She probably was smart enough but he worried most that she would be unable to either hide the note's contents or that she would have too much of a reaction. Zane folded the note and handed it to the bartender. I thought it would be nice to give her my address y'know? Just in case things go well. It was an address he gave her, just not his. Zane watched as the bartender walked over and gave the drink to Mu-n and handed her the note. He smiled at her a little. Not a sneaky smile, but a smile that meant he was interested in her. He wanted to look like someone who wanted to go on a date with Mu-n. He knew she was older, but the Aquila didn't know that. She was a friend, he didn't have feelings like that about her, but still she was a Serpente and they looked out for each other. It was hard for Zane to fake the smile but he did it anyway, knowing it was for a good cause. Come on...let's hope this works...

She chuckled lightly, using her hand to hide her smile for no obvious reason, “dull?” she echoed, pinching her bottom lip slightly in a moment of thought. Her fingers slipped from her lips to tap softly against her chin, an honest thoughtful expression. It took her by surprise, really… she just did a good job at hiding it. He had just fought one of the biggest men in the bar, not only did he win, but Bubba was unconscious and probably dead. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes, her hand slipping down to rest on her lap and she crossed her legs, “after what just happened, you still have the gull to call this place ‘dull?’” Mu-n lifted an eyebrow at his direction, smiling softly and shook her head playfully while she turned her attention to the bartender who looking at her in way that was silently begging her to hurry up and order.
“No, thank you. I think I’ve had enough drinks for the night.” It was an honest answer. With her suspicions, she didn’t want to be under the influence of alcohol. If something had gone wrong, she didn’t want her judgment to be slower just in case something went wrong and she was forced into a corner.
The bartender only nodded his head and went back to doing his job.
Mu-n had turned her attention back to Tetsuya, he was obviously hurt and when she noticed him rubbing his injured arm, she swallowed the growing lump in her throat as the urge to heal him began to grow, “it’s not broken, is it?” she asked him, knowing that it wasn’t but was just trying to get his attention away from her name… hopefully he was just interested in getting into her pants, because if he was she knew exactly how to distract him. However, this man was new. She had to get the vibe of him before jumping on the gas pedal. Her intention was to get him to her home so she could experiment on him. He seemed like the type to have a strong will, and those types of people were the best to break. He didn’t seem like oblivious type, so she had to play her cards right.
Making herself more at home, she took off her coat and draped it over the bar. She heard the bartender place a cup in front of her, clearing his throat to get her attention. He placed what looked like a note under the cup and slid it into her direction. Looking up to the bartender, she gave him a questioning look, “What’s this?” she asked him.
“From the gentleman over there,” He pointed over his shoulder with his chin and she followed along until she saw Zane. He was up to something, no doubt. She was positive that it had to do with this male she was sitting with, otherwise why would he avoid approaching her?
She thanked the bartender and slipped the thin paper note out from under the cup. She didn’t even have to read it completely as the bold letter stood out to her when she first saw the penmanship. However, for the sake of his act she read the rest of what he had to say. So, Tetsuya was an Aquila? Her mind was already gearing in the direction of Ryougan, but Aquila? Disappointed overcame her, darn… he was good looking, too.
Looking at Tetsuya, she flashed him apologetic eyes, “I’m sorry about this. I have to take care of something.” Standing up, she dropped the note into the red drink Zane had ordered for her and she headed over in his direction. This news only made her more determined to bring Tetsuya home with her, now that he was an enemy she would try what she could to get him wrapped around her finger. But first, she had to make sure that the bond between her and Zane would remain underground. And to do that, she had to show Tetsuya that she didn’t like him, despite the mutual respect she had for the younger Serpente. She was standing in front of Zane, her eyes narrowed at him with fake disgust as she lifted her hands to rest on her hips, “I thought I told you to leave me alone?” she said out loud, hoping that Tetsuya could hear her, “the least you could have done was get me a drink that I liked,” With the red drink in her hand, she tossed the liquid at Zane and it splashed all over him. Dropping the cup in his lap she flashed him a barely noticeable smirk of amusement sure that he would see it due to their proximity.
Turning on her heels, she faked anger which was surprisingly easy even though she was laughing inside, thanking him for looking out for her. Passing Tetsuya, she didn’t look in his direction knowing that she had left her coat behind. Hopefully, he was a gentlemen. If not, then she was sure the act she had put on would have at least sparked enough curiosity to make him chase her, if not… then there’s was always the name she didn’t give him. And if that still didn’t make him chase after her… well, her tongue traced her fang, she always did like a good fight.

Eyes still dawned on the gray haired warrior as he sat there with a provoking grin on his face. It was a shame that things had to start off like this, His only true intentions here were to enjoy a drink and have a fine time with the ladies. Instead he found himself tied into a battle with some brute and ended up having to bash his face in, not to mention suffer injuries. Shortly he stopped the rubbing and decided to grow up and stand the pain until he recovered and got treated. While waiting for his order, he noticed her show some interest in him and a bit playful actions as well. It was exactly what he wanted to see from her, a nice playful smile and a bit of interest. Even with the conversing going on between the two, disturbance reeked around him and he was forced to secretly keep his mind on another task that troubled him. He couldn’t fight the feeling no matter how hard he tried, he needed to get down to the bottom of this and clear his conscious. As she answered his question with another question, Tetsuya only laughed a bit and raised his hands in an I don’t know gesture. He then saw her show some concern for his injury by asking him if he was still in pain but he only ignored it to avoid thinking about the pain
”Well these things always happen in a bar. Drunks, gossip, thugs, fights and sexual pleasure….I guess I’m use to this environment why I call it dull. But that still doesn’t answer my question, it looks like you enjoy beating around the bush and making others work to get answers they want”
He then rested his feet on another table not to far from them and leaned his seat back to a wall, leaving him in an odd position; his chair was slightly curved and not all completely leaning on the wall and it would take one false move to having him tumble down. Even in an awkward position he felt comfortable and rested both arms behind his head as he rested. Smile of attraction shown on him to show that he liked how she was playing the hard to break type.”Its obvious then that your not a regular bar goer…you don’t even look like a bar individual…but”
He then looked at his attire and realized that his fashion was far from what the rest of these low life bastards wore and the two stood out like a sore thumb. He did behave like them when the time came so that was probably the only relation. He was sure that this lady didn’t know how to really fit in with these people as much as he could but then again looks were deceiving. He then continue on with is speech in a smooth tone with a hint of lust fused with his words
Based on how I dress I don’t look like a bar goer either. Still you can tell when someone is out of place, and you my friend look out of place unless you can prove me wrong
As he said that, the Bartender came with his drink and he simply smiled and watched as the bartender gave his fine lady a drink and a note. Tetsuya only smiled and took note to what was going on with a closing of his eyes as he took a sip from his Cuba Libre. The situation had already become clear to Tetsuya but not fully to what was happening, but he was no fool. He didn’t make it known to what he has noted but he would keep it in mind to prepare himself. shortly his eyes widen from hearing her apologize and the sudden eruption from the table she gave as she coursed towards the man he was suspicious of. Following that he heard a rather harsh voice from the lady as she warned the man to leave her alone, which the man being drowned in his drink followed. It was a shame that the man tried to steal the girl he was talking too, and if it was any other guy he would of found himself in a major brawl…especially if it was Bubba. Of course Tetsuya was not in any mood to fight and rather chuckled a bit as he saw the other around laugh and shout out names at the punk. He almost felt sorry for the kid but that’s was all his doing. She then barged out in an anger like manner and quickly Tetsuya caught on that she forgot her jacket. It was an obvious invitation that he could follow her without being viewed as a horny dog. Kicking himself back up, he shot down his drink and was a bit stunted by it for a split second and brought himself up with the jacket in his hand. He planned to follow her and give her back the jacket she forgot and possibly continue their conversation. Before he left he found his eyes grace their vision on his necklace once again and subconsciously found himself praying for redemption. He didn’t know why he did it, but it look like it was needed. After the brief prayer, he left some money in the hands of the bartender and gave him a cheeky smile
”Looks like I cause some ruckus inside here…I’m sure the money you gained is enough to pay for the damage. And tell Bubba that I’m sorry I had to bash his face in with ease, next time I’ll try harder…that’s if he’s still alive, see ya!”
He then left the bar with the jacket in one hand and his sword strapped to his back. He still kept in mind what may occur when he got outside and would easily be prepared if things turn out the way he thought things would go. Tetsuya was definitely no fool and would track any actions that would fall into his scenario.
As he notice the lady continuing to walk, an idea came in mind and Tetsuya only grinned to his thoughts and wondered how he came up with things like this. He just hoped this lady wasn’t as jumpy or easy to react with a hostile manner when would make his move. As she walked, she would feel her jacket wrap on to her smoothly and Tetsu’s hands tuck over her.
”You forgot your jacket and it’s chilly outside as well… I don’t think this is the best time to stroll without it, am I right? Besides, I don’t want you to catch a cold either because of that jerk!”
He walked beside with one hand over her only to support her jacket until she placed her hands through sleeves. The last he wanted was to piss her off by dropping her jacket and getting socked in the face….he already took enough of that from Bubba

Zane watched as Mu-n read the note. She knew she got the message as soon as she dropped the note in her drink shortly after she saw it. Good...now all she has to do is make a scene to make it believable... Zane continued to smile at her as she walked over to him. Mu-n stood in front of him and started yelling at him. He knew it was a show, so he just went along with it, not making eye contact with her to show how ashamed he was. All of a sudden, he felt a splash of cold liquid in his face followed by something dropping in his lap. He licked around his lips to taste the liquid and realized she just threw the drink in his face. He felt embarrassed and angry at Mu-n's actions, but knew they were for a good cause. He looked around and saw the other patrons at the bar laughing at himWhy you...I'm going to kill you for this...There better be a dead Aquila out of this or you're going to get it Zane watched as Mu-n walked angrily out of that bar. Soon after, Zane noticed the man she was with take the jacket she left behind and go after her. He thought it was for the best, seeing as now Zane wouldn't have to worry about being caught by this Aquila.
Zane moved over to an available table in the corner of the bar. He could see outside the window from it, but moved his chair so that he was at an angle where he could not be entirely noticed. All right, let's test your abilities at manipulating people Mu-n. I hope you can get some good info on his powers. I'm going to enjoy this. Zane took the glass of wine he got earlier from the bar and swirled it around in his glass. He looked out of the window out of the corner of his eye and focused on Mu-n. Hopefully, they wouldn't look this way. Zane took a small sip of his drink and started to go into his clanmate's mind. Hopefully, she wouldn't react too much and just continue conversation with the warrior. Any information she got out of him, would go straight into her mind, and Zane would know too. This is going to get interesting...He seems to be aware of me now...so it's up to you Mu-n...I can't do anymore...The rest is up to you...
