Kya leaned casually against the grimy wall of the equally grimy motel. She always ended up with a passable customer around here, and if not, she had a place to stay for the night. Her pale skin shone in the dim light above her. A spotlight. She laughed hollowly. If only she had an audience to watch her nightly show. She was the master of her trade, the star of the show.
She noticed a small older man watching her with obvious interest. The corner of her lip curled in distaste. She would never turn a customer away, but the older crowd was particularly disgusting. Always so much more crude than one would expect. She stared him down until he left and fingered the red sash around her thigh absently.

Ryougan or not, the streets of Veradad was dangerous and not a place for people to roam. One on one, Raijin could take; a small group, maybe. Though the streets of Verada had practically armies who would take something as small as sneakers, to something as valuable as human life. Raijin was quite far from home and walking around the city was something that he didn't dare do. He had a nice amount of money, so he thought that he would grab a room at a hotel. After all, he hadn't been in a hotel in a while (and it was always fun to trash it before you left). Yawning, he looked around for a hotel and saw one called the palm motel.
"Palm motel?" He said to himself. He shrugged and headed towards it. Beggers couldn't be choosers, so he sucked up his pride and waltzed inside, taking the scenary in for a moment. This place made him want to walk home, though that would be a huge risk. He saw a woman leaned against the wall. She was quite a looker, especially her clothing style. Raijin ran his hand through his hair and walked towards her, rubbing sleep out of his eye.
"Hey ma'am. Do you work here, cause if ya do then I kinda need a room for the night."

Younger boys held a special interest in Kya’s eyes. They were naïve, easy to manipulate. And usually not too bad in bed, as long as they got rid of the foolish idea of ‘romancing’ her. This particular boy seemed... playful, indeed. Her eyes, dark at the moment, followed his steps up to her. Her gaze trailed up and down his body at his question, and she chuckled.
“Well, I work here sometimes... Just not for the motel.” She smirked and her eyes twinkled. “You don’t need to ask for a room, love. Just pick one, they don’t notice.”
She pursed her lips and looked him up and down once more.
“Now, what’s a young toy like you doing alone in such a dangerous city?” She pushed gently off the wall and took a step toward him. “Murderers, thieves... all kinds of creatures lurk in the shadows here.”

[Dude, I'm sooooo Sorry! Please don't hate me!]
Raijin rubbed his eye and stared at the woman, fighting to stay awake. Raijin wasn't a goody-goody, though he tried to uphold the law and if he was to just take a room without care then it would be hypocritical of him. Though, Raijin's old nature was just yelling at him to take the room and pay them whenever he had the chance again. Yeah, he was tired and actually judging this would make him even more tired. He would just take the room.
"Thanks for the heads up, ma'am." He said running his fingers through his hair and backing to the wall. Raijin decided to play with her and stuck a pose, cracking his knuckles, and smoothing out his hair. Of course, he wanted to make himself look tough in front of the pretty lady and Raijin was an expert on pretending to be macho.
"There's nothing for me to worry about, after all I'm a danger to the murderers and the thieves than the other way around. See, there's something about me that makes me different from these crooks in the street..." He stopped in his tracks and looked at the woman. He hadn't even gotten her name so, if he was to reveal his secret, he could only imagine what could happen to him.
"Well, what are you doing around in a city like this? Someone like you shouldn't even be in Verada to begin with... or am I wrong and this town is like a second home to you?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
