(I'm a little rusty, but I'll see what I can do. o.o)
Beaches are known for three things: sun, sand, and water. Beaches also tend to have people on them, but the one in Verada rarely receives visitors; then again, if you lived in a city filled with warring Ryougans, would a trip to the beach sound good to you? So, while the humans hide in their homes (or, at least, buildings that resemble homes) in the city, the Ryougans drop by the beach whenever they feel like it. Rosu, having nothing to do that day, decided to pay the beach a visit.
Rosu, even as a kid, always loved going to the beach. In case you were wondering, yes, he spent the majority of his time stealing from unattended bags and picnic baskets; but that doesn't mean he didn't stop to enjoy the sand between his toes, the back-and-forth motion of the waves, and the sweet taste of chocolate ice-cream on his tongue. Believe it or not, this was the place where he first met Akuba Akki... funny how people meet, right? Anyway, the point is, the beach is kind of like Rosu's home away from home.
After securing the longsword on his back (you can never be too prepared), Rosu suddenly sprinted toward the water and shouted, "Woooooohoooooooooo!" ... What? It's not like anyone could hear him; he's on a deserted beach, after all. After shaking off the sand from his light brown shorts and white T-shirt, Rosu took off his sandals and walked into the water until his knees were submerged in it half way. He always loved to do this, especially when it was hot outside. After doing this for a few minutes, he started to run around like a chicken with its head cut off... trust me, this isn't an exaggeration.
(Could this be just another 'normal' day at the beach? This writer says... HECK NO! XD)

Siena swam through the water, testing how long she could hold her breath. The moment her lungs started to burn she swam towards the surface. She broke through the water, throwing her head back as she gasped for air. Her honey blonde hair went down to just below her shoulder blades and her green bikini looked like it was pretty new. Siena wiped her eyes and blinked a few times, there seemed to be a figure on the beach. She felt the familiar weight of a small knife that was held on a black belt around her waist. There was no sense in taking her short sword into the water now was there? The figure then ran into the water up to their knees for a few moments. "Woooooohoooooooooo!" The figure was running around on the beach like a headless chicken now...was this person on a sugar high? She dove beneath the water with a loud splash and swam to shore. Siena surfaced quietly before getting out of the water and she squeezed the water out of her hair as she walked onto the dry sand. "Looks like you're having fun!" She called out to the person before going to her hidden belongings and grabbed a hair clip and a spare change of clothes. Siena towel dried her swim suit swiftly before paying half of her attention to her clothes, the other half to the figure. She pulled the long-sleeved dark blue top on over the top of the Bikini top, the stone wash jeans went on too and she slung the belt holding her short sword over her hips. She put her hair into a quick up do before packing up her stuff and tugging on a thick looking jacket. Siena then promptly sat down on the sand and looked pretty content to just stare into space with her blue-green eyes. But she was actually quite aware of the male that was also on the beach.

"Looks like you're having fun!" When Rosu heard this, he stopped dead in his tracks and began to look for the source of the voice he'd just heard. He was surprised to see that there was someone else on the beach now... from the looks of it, a girl. He hasn't had much luck with girls; he could remember good dates, but for some reason, he could never remember bad ones (when the girl doesn't return your phone calls, you know it was a bad date). At this point in time, he has no idea why this happens; the only thing Rosu knows for sure is this: getting your face slapped on a date and having no idea why is not fun!
Rosu was now faced with a dilemma: should he go against everything he stands for and ignore her, or should he go over there and risk red cheeks (not from the sun, mind you)? "Geez... I thought today was supposed to be a problem-free day!" Rosu thought to himself as he struggled to make a decision. After a few minutes of thinking, he decided to go ahead and meet her; for Rosu, it just wouldn't feel right to ignore here. With that settled, he left the water, picked up his sandals, and started to walk toward the girl.
As he got closer, he began to notice some of her features. Though she had almost all of her clothes on at this point, Rosu managed to catch a glimpse of her wet bikini. "Well, I guess that explains why I didn't see her when I came here..." Rosu thought to himself as he continued walking toward her. He also noticed she had something shiny on her belt... his common sense told him it was a weapon of some kind. He wasn't exactly surprised, though; after all, it wasn't unusual for someone in Verada to carry a weapon.
When he was about eight feet away from her, Rosu came to a complete stop and let his sandals drop onto the sand. "How was your swim?" He asked her, a silly grin on his face.

Siena watched the other person come to a halt and turn to look at her. She almost laughed when the young man seemed to think something over before starting to walk over to her. Her long pale fingers went through her honey blonde hair. The locks fell in gentle waves before she got out her towel and started drying her hair slowly.
He stopped a few feet from her and she looked up at him, analysing what he looked like. "How was your swim?" He asked and she let a soft smile tilt the corners of her mouth upwards. "It was refreshing, thanks for asking." She said before tucking a few strands of hair behind one ear as she finished drying it as much as she could.
"I am Siena Kuroda, and you are?" She said before spreading her towel out and rolling onto it, her back on the thick fabric. She supported her head with her hands, they were placed behind her head. "Last time I checked, I didn't bite people. Why not come a bit closer good sir?" Siena teased before looking up at the sky above her.

(Can you tell the difference between the Silver and White text?)
"It was refreshing, thanks for asking." Rosu laughed sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head, slightly embarrassed by his near-pointless question. In order to recover, he replied with this: "Well, at least I'm not the only one who can enjoy a deserted beach." If one stopped to think, this would actually be a valid point. Besides the tan-only beach visitors, people mostly come to the beache for the games, the food, and the other people; when such things aren't available, the visitors tend to bore (and leave) earlier. Rosu's bubble of thought popped when the girl in front of him spoke once more to him:
"I am Siena Kuroda, and you are?" A silly grin once again found its way to Rosu's face. "Itami Rosu, at your service!" As he said this, he lowered himself into a gentleman's bow... well, it resembled one, at least. Please call me Rosu... though people do that anyway, I think it's always good to have a preference." Rosu never liked being called 'Itami' or 'Mr. Itami'... names like those were way too formal for someone him. Actually, if it weren't for the fact that it was reuqired to have a last name, he wouldn't have one at all. Rosu, realizing that he had buried himself in his thoughts again, shook his head and redirected his focus toward his new friend, Siena, who happens to be very good at deciding when to speak (XD).
"Last time I checked, I didn't bite people. Why not come a bit closer, good sir?" Cheeks filled with embarrassment, Rosu walked over to her and sat down next to the towel she was laying on. He would have laid down with her, but the thought of being blinded by the bright sun made him decide against it. He looked down at Siena, trying to figure out why she wasn't harmed by the sun's rays. In the end, he decided the thought wasn't important enough to worry about, so he moved on to something else: poking her head. "Happy now?" Rosu asked her as he continued to poke.

(Yeah, I can tell the difference =p )
"Well, at least I'm not the only one who can enjoy a deserted beach." He said and Siena looked up at him with a soft smile on her face. "You have a good point sir, I don't like crowded beaches either. So, how has life been treating you?" Siena stretched out a little, her hair spread out underneath her head and neck...like she was just waking up from a deep sleep. This person was interesting, why not talk to him? It was not like he was going to kill her right now.
"Itami Rosu, at your service! Please call me Rosu... though people do that anyway, I think it's always good to have a preference." The young man said with a silly grin and a bow. She laughed gently and groaned slightly as she stretched, reaching her arms above her head and bringing them back down...unintentionally making a sand angel around her. "That's a nice name, it suits you...I think it is always a good thing to put a name to a face. Don't you?" She said with a small grin.
He came closer and sat beside her, only to begin poking her in the head. She raised one eyebrow at him before smirking a little. "Happy now?" He asked, poking her still. She suddenly got an idea and sat up swiftly before attempting to pushing him onto his back on the sand. If she succeeded she would then be half lying, half sitting on his stomach. "Maybe....." She said vaguely, staring at him with her blue-green eyes.

(Just making sure... o.o)
Before he could even blink, Rosu found himself lying on his back with a wet and hot-looking girl sitting on his stomach. Most guys would probably take full advantage of this compromising position... Rosu isn't like most guys, though, so he treats it like some kind of game. About a minute after Siena made her move, Rosu, while trying to get up, put his hands on her shoulders and shifted his weight in her direction, causing her to fall back. Their roles were now reversed: Rosu was now on top, and Siena was now on the bottom. After briefly looking over the girl below him, he took his hands off her shoulders and wiped them on his clothes. "You really should have seen that coming, you know..." Rosu said to her, a child-like grin on his face.
Rosu jumped to his feet and held out his hand for her to grab. "You should probably get up now... unless you want half of the beach in your hair." Rosu chuckled at this, remembering all the times sand had found its way into his own hair. When light-haired people like Siena get sand in their hair, it's no big deal; when dark-haired people like Rosu get it, though, their hair looks like an ocean dotted with an infinite number of islands. All those times his head met the sand... all those times he had to shake or wash the sand out of his hair... they weren't exactly 'good' beach memories, to say the least. While he was thinking about this, a random (yet relevant) thought suddenly occurred to him. "If you try to pull me down, Siena Kuroda, I swear I'll never forgive you!" Hm... maybe he shouldn't have put the thought in her head...

Siena felt him shift his weight and she was then on her back, looking up at him. Rosu seemed to be giving her a once over with his eyes, this made her a little uncomfortable. Rosu soon got off of the top of her and wiped his hands on this clothes. "You really should have seen that coming, you know..." He said with a childish grin gracing his face. "Who said I didn't see it coming?" She asked in a teasing tone and one corner of her mouth lifted up in a cheeky half grin.
He got up and offered her his hand, to help her up. "You should probably get up now... unless you want half of the beach in your hair." He said and she laughed a little. "Is that so? I wasn't thinking about that, poor beach..." Siena joked and was about to take his hand when he spoke again.
"If you try to pull me down, Siena Kuroda, I swear I'll never forgive you!" She grinned widely before taking his hand and letting him pull her to her feet. "I'd hate to have you swearing, or never forgiving me. But you do have sand in your hair too, want to take a swim with me and wash it out?" She said with a soft laugh and let his hand slip from her grasp, stepping back to take off her jacket, sword belt, jeans and top. Left only in her bikini she smiled a little and then promptly went into the water.
She went under the surface and let the cold water numb her a little. She surfaced and shook her head, sending water droplets scattering everywhere. "You coming in?" She asked in a slightly breathless voice and began to tread water, though the water was only up to her shoulders.
