He interrupted her, and moved his hand away as she finished shaking it and introduced herself. Sighing lightly he raised his arm up, and stretched, his wounds were healing quit fast, but it was always that way with him. He couldn't move really fast or use his speed, so he'd put his pride aside on this. "But... I like you." He didn't mean it in the way that it might of been skewed to, but he didn't know really what he meant yet. "So, I'll come with you, plus the healing helps, and soon I'll take on all the Aquilla, if I can get help from some others.."He said, as he moved down to her, now he placed an arm on her shoulder. "Can I stop acting all macho now?" He said, as he bent over, grunting in pain. He was holding back the pain to make her believe, before he even ran into an epiphany. The serpente might be quite evil, but they wouldn't dare kill people for no reason at all. So if he stayed there and they came, he'd just give his life up.[/ul]

Ayumi frowned when he said she may be a serpente. But.. she would never do that. Even if she was, why would have have gone through the trouble of the Serpente fight? She could've just let them finish him, even as a spy. But she smiled when he said that he liked her. She was naive and oblivious to the other meaning of the words and thought nothing of it. She had never had someone like her in that way anyway.
She clapped her hands together when he said he would come with her to her boarding house. "Great! You'll be safe there, and you can get yourself healed up." She said, her hands clasped together as if she were praying. "But I don't think you'll be able to fight for a week or two. You'll need plenty of rest; my powers may heal but without rest they are pointless."

He said, as he looked as his hand, then felt his chest, as when he was forcing himself to walk normal, and move normal he exerted so much energy just didn't notice this, he was able to put out the pain from his mind. Looking down to his chest, he noticed blood beginning to pour out of it. The wound was serious, and Faden wasn't able to recognize that, with his pride and all. Placing a hand over the blood, it seemed to pour from his fingers, a wound on the chest was a horrible place to have it, just like in the stomach. It can tear open no matter what you do. Luckily he had a woman there that seemed to know how to heal. His mind was blank on ideas, he turned to her, and suddenly leaned on her, knowing if he fell forward he'd just make things worse, so falling on her was better. The wounds might of been magically sealed, but the slight layer of skin that was prduced over it wasn't enough to keep it steady yet.[/ul]

"Hmmm. Darn. Well, let me heal it more. Maybe since all the other wounds are staying closed, if I focus all of my power onto the one wound, it'll keep it good until we can let you rest in a nice, cozy, bed." She said, looking at the wound. She let out a slight wince as if she were feeling the pain for herself. "Okay, hold still. This might get a little nasty. You may feel a sting when I heal it." She said, carefully laying her hand on the wound. She nearly vomited when the blood began to touch her hands. A healer that wasn't used to the touch or sight of blood. She couldn't help it. She wasn't some powerful warrior woman. She was just a feminine girl who knows how to swing a naginata.. and heal wounds.
She closed her eyes, though made sure to keep steady as they walked, and let rays of healing spew out onto the wound, slowly intensifying as the second went by. She bit her lips as it continued to intensify. She had never told anyone this, but it felt like she was getting her energy pulled out and put into her target when she healed. of course the feeling wore off over time, but it was something hard to deal with while it happened.
The light suddenly intensified much in a sudden burst of power, before disappearing. She opened her eyes as she finished, taking a quiet gasp of air. "Wow, that was odd." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

He said, his odd position was given away now, he was looking directly into her face, and she didn't quite seem to notice, 'till well... Now. Leaning off her, he felt better now. His ribs were still aching, and his chest hurt like hell, but he could walk... Sort of. "Mind if I lean on you?" For some odd reason he found himself wanting to touch her. He didn't really understand why now, perhaps it was his sub-concious was telling him to get near her. He didn't understand it himself, so he just went with it. Oddly he was already leaning on her as he asked, so he allowed her to lead him right now, he was trying to rest. If they were interrupted he had enough energy stored up right now to use his powers a few. Knowing that he would need it, he began to ask her something. "Can you go get a few water bottles from the hospital? I need them in case something happens at wherever we're going." His tone was more serious than before, as if he didn't have them, his physical injuries would totally stand out in a fight.[/ul]

She shook her head. "My discomfort is to a far less degree than your pain, I can see. A little discomfort won't kill me." She said, smiling. She nodded when he asked if her could lean on her. She wasn't strong, but she'd do her best to keep him up. She continued along with him leaning on her towards their destination, but stopped when he suddenly asked about water. Was he thirsty? They weren't that far from the boarding house... Couldn't he wait? If she left him here, he'd be in more danger than if they didn't have any water. Really, she knew he was in no shape to fight. She stopped and looked at him, frowning.
"Water? Why? If I left you here you might get ambushed, and if I take you along, we'd move rather slowly and eventually the Serpente are gonna check on their assassin's condition. Can it not wait until we get to safe territory? If you are thirsty, surely you can hold out for maybe 15 minutes." She said, looking backwards somewhat. They weren't terribly far from the hospital, but they were still moving quite slow...

He allowed her to situate him on the ground. Pulling out a bottle that was slightly crushed from his pocket. He knew it was there, due to the fact that he had used it three days ago. Silently he placed it on the ground, after blowing air into it to make the plastic expand. Closing his eyes, he quickly began to concentrate on his surroundings. He could feel the water in the ground, it had rained recently. Collecting his thoughts he was able to separate them from the earth and pull it from the ground. The whole area around them soon rose with water. It was like a small surface of water rose. It was a small amount but enough to fit into the bottle. Opening his eyes, he looked up at her and gently closed the bottle. "I control water." He said, as he raised his hand up to her. "Please help me up...?"[/ul]

"Oh. Okay." She said, as she looked at the bottle in amazement. She always enjoyed seeing a Ryougan's powers. Unless, of course, they were trying to harm her. She had always thought her boring, but still kept her faith in them. If it wasn't for this power she and others would be dead. But she could have atleast have something to attack people. She was like a human with a limited shield when in close up battle. She snapped back to what was happening then and there when he put his hand out and asked her to help him up. She put her hands out and grabbed with her soft hands. Something odd for a healer in a war torn city. You'd think after dealing with so many bloodied warriors she'd have leathery hands from gloves or something.
She pulled him up, letting him rest on her again. "So, did you want me to go back? Or did you just want to wait? If we get attacked, I could fight. I'm not *totally* weak." She smiled, looking over her shoulder at the naginata attached to her back. She never left without it. It was her only offensive. If she was without it, it was run for the hills with a shield on. If she couldn't out run them, then hopefully she could play innocent girl.
