She smiled somewhat when the blur of his attacks came at her. She was ready aswell, leaping to her right, keeping her legs close to her body as possible. She did feel somewhat hesitant now that the fight had started. She did enjoy killing her targets, but... that was because her targets were all people who *needed* to go down. She felt she had somewhat of a personal agenda against these twisted individuals. She had seen her friends been beat and raped by their parents. Well, she had not seen the rape, thank god, but her friends had told her as they sobbed. When her friends hadn't shown up for a few days, she knew what had happened.
She shook her head, realizing how open she must have been at that moment. She held her katana ready again, biting her lip. This was on of the few occassions her heart pounded and she had trouble keeping her emotions hidden. Her thoughts kept going back to her poor little friends sobbing about how their daddy being an asshole. 'Course they didn't word it like that. THough they did introduce her to curse words. Granted, they went around saying them with no idea what they were saying...
'Wait, wait, wait, Venus. Venus, dear. Stop thinking and slice him open already.' She told him to go all out and she was going to hold him to that. Her blue eyes snapped back to their normal self, her nostalga fading into a fury she would use to her advantage. She prayed to her dear god that he had not taken the moment to attack, because her thoughts were just now lining up.

He said, not belittling her, but threatening. He was serious this time, earlier his emotions weren't in line, and he was second guessing himself. Now he knew she had no right to decide if they died. Let jail, or let them live. Perhaps rehabilitation. He could barely breath, and he was almost out of energy and his leg muscles ached. Using such extreme speed and having to concentrate on the water around him was hard. But it was allowed, luckily he hadn't traveled too far from where he busted his water bottle the first time. If not she would be able to move freely without having extra weight at her feet, and blade.[/ul]

Ugh, just great. She was stuck now. There was no chance she could escape. Her thoughts had pretty much damned her. She could either A, give up her killing way, B, let him kill her, or C, end her life herself. 'I should just finish this off myself, I mean, honorable suicide is better than letting this man end my life.' Her eyes went down to her katana, which was now frozen over. "Sorry, but you have no governing of what I do, and if you want to kill me for helping people, go ahead. When I see your soul burn as it flies down to hell, I'll be laughing and drinkin' a good one." She growled, slamming her blade(with both hands as she couldn't with one) onto the foot part of her dark bodysuit. She slammed it a few more times, breaking one shoe first, before bashing the other shoe, breaking both in a few hits.
She shook her feet somewhat, pretty much ignoring her back, which had a blade pointing at it. If he wanted to kill her, here was his oportunity. She knew he wouldn't though. As 'serious' as his voice was, she knew he wouldn't. If he was as concerned about her victims as he seemed, he wouldn't kill a woman who kills evil. That'd make him, oh, worse. "If you really do kill me, then you're worse than me. I kill those who hurt others. if you kill one that has good intentions, you're hypocritical."
She then walked forward a bit, before turning to him. "Well, go ahead. Kill me." She said, walking back towards him, hands on her hips. "I'm waiting for the big finale."

He paused for a moment, and then remembered something. "Ohh, and if I told you who hired me, I'd be a snitch. I don't like snitches."He turned his head back to where his body was pointed, and continued to walk away. Really, he didn't even want to hurt her. He could barely look at her without feeling some sort of sadness. It was so odd, she looked, and acted... Just like her... It was even more saddening that he had to walk away. [/ul]

Venus closed her eyes as he walked away, praying to herself in her head. That was a close one. Not close enough to end her days as an assassin. That was all she had left. Her family, her little childhood friends. They were all gone. She had lost the ability to love and cherish after so many jobs. Her feelings for men never got past friendship as a child to teenage years, do to the terrible stories of father and the fact she had no male figure in her childhood life. If he thought she'd give up after one scare.
She sheathed her katana onto her back, walking to her discarded rapier, putting it back onto her hip. She looked up to the dark, night sky. Her eyes fluttered to a close. Her blonde ponytail lifted into the chiling kamikaze, the divine wind. "Thank god for that. Now I know, I must be stronger. If he comes back.. I'll be ready. Readier... than ever." She opened her eyes again, and leaped back from windsill to roof.
Sitting on the edge of the roof, she thought. She recapped her life, her hardships, her moments of happiness. She noticed her happiness moments happened far less than her hardships. Sighing, she pulled out her katana, examining it. It was in her father's office when she killed him...
She liked peace, honestly, she did. But she knew there would be no peace until she killed all the evil that came before her. She was a vigilante, sure. She didn't care though. They deserved it. THe man she had just foughten, well, more like getten beat by, was a fool if he thought the government could get all the corruption in the city. Half of her targets were from the fuckin' government. There was no way she could rely on them to clean up this damned city.
She rolled backwards and onto her feet, swinging her katana out and then slided it back into her sheath. "I will not quit. I am the woman who hides in the shadows, stealthily cutting the necks of the corrupted. I am Venus." She said to herself, somewhat proudly. She had done a pretty good job at living this long actually. I mean, she was lucky that he was the first super man sent after her. Well, this was actually a good night for her. He had taught her to be more careful. Of course, this ment she'd have to use her savings to get a new home...
She stood up and took in a deep breath, leaping off the roof. She pulled her hair loose again, shaking it back a bit. She was gonna avoid fighting for a few days, so she wouldn't need it up all the time. She liked it down, besides, she thought she looked worse with it up.
